Discussion Video - Booktok Fallout and Intersections of Fandom and Sport

This video is going to feature some massive trigger warnings. It was hard to film, because some of it feels personal as it relates to my interests, experiences, and education. I talk about the current Booktok fallout, Kierra Lewis's role in this, the harm done to Alex and Felicia Wennberg, a personal harassment experience that I had that's somewhat related to this discussion, and some notations based on my educational background that's worth considering in this discussion from the outside looking in. I don't think a conversation like this exists in a bubble and it certainly won't be the last when it comes to toxic examples of fandom, discussions of harassment and online abuse, but I hope it presents a point of consideration and exploring what can be done better.
