Why we've moved to a new house at the Bruderhof - and what makes it a home

Home, Robert Frost once intoned, "is the place where, when you have to go there, they have to take you in." Oh, but it's so much more than that, right?! At Bruderhof communities, families and single people live in houses that come in all shapes and sizes, some old, some new. Everyone is provided the space they need, but none of us owns the home we occupy, as no community member holds private property. Our family has spent the past ten years living in a well-loved two-bedroom cottage. But, as we discuss in this video, seasons change - and we recently moved to a new house at the Danthonia Bruderhof. We have a lovely, well-appointed apartment. Now it's our job to turn it into a vibrant, happy home!
