Abandoned Prison In The California Desert Hides A Secret (Wasteland Spotlight)

Deep in the California desert mountains lies a forgotten prison, long abandoned and left to the elements. What starts as a simple recon exploration quickly turned into something else — the discovery of a high-tech secret hidden deep within the compound. This special Wasteland Spotlight started as a simple reconnaissance mission to an abandoned prison complex in the desert, a place I have visited before on several occasions. But this time was different. In this exploration, I document every eerie corridor, rusting dorm, and hidden chamber as I uncover evidence of a covert operation the nature of which i am still unsure about. Relevant for my preppers because you just never know what might be lurking in your own backyard... better to find out now rather than wait until after collapse. RE-RELEASE UPDATE In the time since the original posting of this video, there have been several revelations regarding the mystery inside the compound. Within days of posting, I had learned that the drone devices and infrastructure built into the abandoned prison were owned by a company called "Flying Lion." This is different from the company that actually purchased and owns the property, Ecology Mountain Holdings, LLC. According to the Flying Lion website, the location is being use for an extensive and nationally acclaimed Drone First Responder law enforcement training center. As we can see from the video, however, it is neither extensive, nor even active for the entire time I was on site, which was pretty much all day. Further research shows that there is no real independent media detailing the operations supposedly taking place out there, and the only mentions of it at all in the public eye go all the way back to spring of this year, 2025... but my exploration of the site was at the end of September. The only media ever put out was the companies own press releases and the material on their own website. The lack of activity, publicity, and especially the distinct lack of personnel or resources at the site when I visited makes it seem more like a cover for something else. All this sophisticated drone and airspace monitoring hardware, and no one detected me coming? They didn't detect my drone flying around and even orbiting their radar system? They did detect the video being posted, however. I ended up getting a very interesting "warning," and decided to take the video down while I did further research. I still have no true confirmation of who "They" are, but I do know one thing. If the operation was so legitimate, why not have someone simply report me? Having detected me during the more than 6 hours I was there, why not send someone out? Even just the Sheriff to kick me out? In my experience, legit people will use legit remedies. And it is other sorts of people and operations that will resort to more... subtle means. I think I uncovered something here. I don't know what, but whoever is running it sure doesn't seem to want it in the public eye. Before I re-released this video, I have reported the site to the Department of Homeland Security. If this is a legit government operation, with oversight, then they should have nothing to fear from that... right? I also want to mention here that i never entered the site of the old mine nearby, a place that is open and active for something, and clearly marked for no trespassing. However, as we can see from the POV of my entry to this place, there were no signs... yet another suspicious part of the mystery.
