The first set includes tunes by Led Zeppelin, Joni Mitchell, Hendrix, Stones, Muppets, Guns 'n Roses and some early Robert Plant solo stuff. To play these accurately at least three of the songs require alternative tunings, all different. One even requires a banjo, again with its own specific tuning. You have one Telecaster (maybe two) in standard tuning with approximately 30 seconds between one tune and the next to prepare the necessary tone platform and set up an alternative tuning. Quite often less than 30 seconds. Ouch. Ouch. The VG-800 can save the day, and then some. I put this hypothetical to the test in this video and know now that if ever faced with such a challenge, the VG-800 can deliver with confidence, convincing tones and ease of use.
