Mamquam Falls, Squamish, 2025! Better than Shannon Falls? Easy Squamish Waterfall! The Free Trail!!

#squamish #outdoorrecreation #Mamquamfalls After starting the day with a visit to Shannon Falls, we continue our way, and pull into Mamquam Falls! Less than 15 minutes away from Shannon Falls, it was a simple addition to our play by it by ear itinerary! The parking lot was pretty easy to find and seemed like quite a few spots! After the parking lot, it got a little more confusing, as there is a free trail as well as an elevated boardwalk! We wandered over to the ticket booth, but weren't persuaded to drop $44 each, when we're quite content scurrying over roots and rocks to get to a viewpoint! Head left after the parking lot and follow along the fence that blocks you from accessing the elevated boardwalk! When you see a gate blocking vehicle access to a road going downhill, bypass the gate and follow the road! Don't be fooled by the path that follows along the top of the hill! We ended up going for a lovely extra 15 or so minute walk while trying to figure out the way to the falls! lol ! Once we figured out to head down the road, it became much clearer on how to get there! Lush coastal rainforest surrounds you as you head towards some vibrantly colored waters! I wish there was an unobstructed view, or that the trail carried on to explore more, but what you can see is certainly scenic enough! The view on the boardwalk is supposed to be better, but I would hope so, for almost $50! Nothing wrong with this view! AND getting to explore the shoreline a little is another free bonus! After 10 or so minutes enjoying the falls we retrace our steps back to the vehicle and head north towards Whistler and another set of falls, Brandywine Falls! Hope you enjoyed the video!
