It´s a way to record and show gameplay to serve a better understanding of how it feels to use Virtual Reality. It uses a greenscreen to later blend out the room you are playing in and instead blending in the virtual environment life or in video editing. So it´s only a way to show to the viewers, while playing i can´t see my wheel and real hands. So it´s not like Augmented Reality, which will maybe come in a few years and will look similar. The quality looks worse than it is while playing, because i record in 1080p, but have t stretch and crop the footage to a part of one eye, which results in a resolution less than 720p. What car do you drive? The car i drive in reality is a Westfield SE, it´s from 1989 and build very similar to the first Caterhams. I love that car so much, because it has no driving assists and it´s just you, the car and the track. Nothing distracts from the experience and it´s maybe the most honest way of driving. 1.6 Ford Kent engine 130HP @ 7000rpm 520kg 5speed gearbox limited slip differential standard road tires 185/60/14 (Dunlop BlueResponse) How do i get this mod car? http://www.racedepartment.com/downloa... Real life footage is recorded with a GoPro Hero3 and a SJCAM M10+. Additionally i used the Zoom H1 soundrecorder to get far better sound. In-game footage is recorded with OBS - Open Broadcaster Software How long you´ve worked for this? 3 hours recording and troubleshooting 12 hours video editing 3 hours drive to and back home from the Nürburgring 30min driving on the Nordschleife for 3 laps 15min laughing my ass of how awesome some scenes fit together 5min angry crying about frustrating issues ;-)
