Optic disc pit is a rare congenital cavitary anomaly of ONH similar to Optic disc coloboma, Morning glory syndrome etc. It’s associated with maculopathy in about 15% of cases and is characterised by Intra & subretinal fluid. Origin of this fluid remains debated. In this video we present a case of 12 years old female patient diagnosed of dimness of vision secondary to Optic disc pit maculopathy with VA of 6/60, after detecting of diminshed vision in school screening program. In this video, we demonstrate technique of vitrectomy for optic pit maculopathy. Induction of PVD in pediatric patients due to non liquified vitreous is a challenging step in these cases. We have used aspiration-scraper, an innovation by the autuor, as means of induction of posterior vitrecous detachment which makes PVD inducttion relatively easy. Draping of ILM flap is done over optic pit area. Subsequent follow up over period of 11 months shows anatomical in terms reduction in central retinal thcikness and reabsorption of intra and suberteinal fluid along with visual improvement from 6/60 to 6/12
