Helene Schjerfbeck (10 July 1862-23 January 1946) is a Finnish realist and expressionist female painter. When she was four years old, she suffered a hip injury and was unable to attend school. She was talented when she was young and entered the Finnish Art Institute's painting school at the age of 11, where she began to study art. At the age of 18, Helen Schalbebeck, who won a scholarship and went to Paris, was strongly influenced by painters such as Manet, Cezanne and Whistler. Helene Schjerfbeck's oil painting "The Restoration Period" won a bronze medal at the 1889 Paris World Exposition Since 1902, he has produced still life and landscapes, mother portraits, local women, self-portraits and more.
