👉 Rogers Centre in Toronto, home of the Blue Jays, is not your typical MLB ballpark for many reasons! Originally known as SkyDome, it opened in 1989 to much fanfare as the first venue in North America to have a retractable roof. And that's not its only defining feature. Still, it seemed Rogers Centre was in need of a refresh. And it got one thanks to a series of renovations that have really enhanced the experience for Blue Jays fans. When you head to one of the stadium's many social spaces, it's like you're not so much at a baseball game but at a party where everyone in Toronto is invited! (Regardless of what ticket you bought to get in, of course.) That said, there's still plenty for the baseball purist as well. See for yourself in this video guide to Rogers Centre.
