It is expected to intensify into a severe cyclonic storm , Cyclone Montha is likely to cross the Andhra Pradesh coast between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam, near Kakinada 🌧️ Heavy Rainfall Areas Tamil Nadu: 👉Chennai and Coastal Areas: Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms and lightning is likely to occur at isolated places over Chennai, Kancheepuram, and surrounding districts in the next few hours. Andhra Pradesh: 👉Coastal Andhra Pradesh: Extremely heavy rainfall is expected, with potential for flash flooding. Rayalaseema Region: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is anticipated.
