I'm making my way around the city center of Sophia to try the best Traditional Bulgarian food. I used ChatGPT to recommend restaurants or cafes to eat at for this food tour. It led me to some amazing places, but the last one it recommended was a longer walk than I expected so I looked up a nearby place to try Shopska salad. I'm glad I found this restaurant! It was my favorite part of the food tour. First I tried Mekitsa for the very first time at the best shop in town. I went with a savory option the server recommended which was the pepper and cheese. Again, I went with a recommendation and tried the spinach and cheese. It was delicious. I paired it with a fermented drink that you either love or hate known as Boza. I didn't hate it.
