Vacation Town | The Forbidden Crew Come Home To Roost

Last summer, some of the Forbidden Bikes crew spent five days truck camping and mountain biking in and around the best trail riding Vacation Town on Vancouver Island, Cumberland BC. A town that has shaped the way we ride and the way we design our bikes. The crew rode dirt jumps, loam, wood drops, and countless laps until the light ran out. Graham Agassiz put his Forbidden Druid CorE through its paces, Nic Court showed us what he can do with a Druid, and Nolan Weiss showed some of his local talent aboard the Dreadnought. There was no itinerary and no formal guest list. We put out an open invite to the Forbidden community in the area and let the trip take its own form. Riders came and went. Days were long, simple, and dictated by weather, trail conditions, and whoever happened to be around. This project wasn’t about ticking boxes. It was about the time spent riding Forbidden bikes on the iconic Cumberland area trails, beers around the campsites, and letting the days unfold however they did. Good people, good bikes, and time spent in the right place. Vacation Town continues to provide.
