The first in my series of "Ghost" movie/musical mashup videos. MORE IN THIS SERIES: More -    • Ghost Movie/Musical Mashup - "More"   I Can't Breathe -    • Ghost Movie/Musical Mashup - "I Can't Brea...   Focus -    • Ghost Movie/Musical Mashup - "Focus"   As I'm planning to do with all of these, I was attempting here to capture the feeling of a character/group, as opposed to a specific situation (there simply isn't enough footage to do songs like "Life Turns on a Dime" and "I'm Outta Here," which convey a very specific scene rather than a general tone). This one is dedicated to Sam, Molly, and Carl as they are at the beginning of the film; a group I personally refer to as "the Golden Trio." A lot of "Ghost" fans forget that in the beginning, Carl came across as a likable guy and a good friend (Tony Goldwyn played him that way on purpose, in order for his betrayal to seem more personal to the audience). And no matter how things fell out in the end, I truly believe that once upon a time they all really cared about each other. This is an attempt to capture that early dynamic, that sense of playfulness, hope, and unity; as well as of course the internal dynamic of the relationship between Sam and Mol. *************************************************************************** Legal jargon time!
