TRAVEL VLOG - 5 MIN - Drive from Tulum to Punta Allen, Mexico - Overnight Beachside Glamping w/Kids

We decided to make the bumpy drive from Tulum to Punta Allen with the kids in tow for a surprise beach glamping night. The kids had been begging for a long time to camp and we thought this would be a fun overnight excursion. Once we arrived (1.5-2 hrs later) we were a bit surprised to find the beach in really sad condition. Trash was everywhere, and debris clustered with seaweed was strung along the entire beach. We have mixed feelings about our time in Punta Allen. While I'm sure there are some nice hotels and a few decent seafood restaurants throughout the small fishing village, overall, it wasn't a place our family had any interest in returning to. The amount of trash was just really depressing to see :( The pictures online showed something entirely different to what we found in person (during our trip in September 2020). Our recommendation is to either make this a day trip for a specific excursion or some photo opportunities or skip it entirely. #travelvlog #traveling #mexico
