The side mounted float level switch working principle - Feejoy technology The side-mounted float level switch uses buoyancy to control the liquid level. It is usually divided into two parts: a junction box and a float. A permanent magnet is installed on the arm end of the floating ball link and a corresponding switch device is provided in the junction box. In order to adapt to different working conditions, the side-mounted float level switch can use different materials. For example, the explosion-proof type adopts SUS304/ 316 metal anti-corrosion type adopts PP/PVDF plastic material, etc. When the fluid level of the medium is lower than the preset level, the float ball is in a low position, and the arm end magnet is in a high position, which is affected by the magnetic force. The switch in the junction box maintains the N contact and when the liquid level is higher than a certain position, the float is affected by buoyancy. In turn, the switch in the junction box can be switched to NC contact only by flipping the position of the wiring port on the lower side of the floating ball. You can freely switch its initial state to achieve different control schemes.
