Ngata Tuladhar Dafa . In Sanskrit Vasanta means spring. Panchami is the fifth day of Shukla Paksha, the fortnight of the waxing moon in the Hindu month of Magha, (January – February). Vasanta Panchami, which marks the end of the winter and heralds in spring, is dedicated to goddess Saraswati. Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of learning and knowledge. On this day, many children begin their formal education by writing the first letter of the Nepali alphabet on the walls of Saraswati temples, guided by their parents. The performance is performed by the Ngata Tuladhar Dafa Khala. They have been trained by their Guru, Bipu Shrestha from Lubhu. He has been a fore front musicians in Dafa music genre and has been guiding and teaching young people on how to play Dafa music at many places in the Kathmandu valley presently. Alongside Dafa music , he is one of the finest nepali musician who has been contributing in music field along with Project Baja Nepal.
