Song written, produced, mixed and mastered by Lillian Frances. Filmed by Ambynt. I wrote this song after a 500 mile walk across Spain (no blisters, bb!). It taught me a lot about finding fulfillment in the journey, and trusting that when you put one foot in front of the next, you will wind up where you're supposed to be. This song is about taking the long road and believing in yourself, no matter how many tries it takes... which is fitting because this is my 5th time submitting to the Tiny Desk contest ☺️ Thank you for watching! The sculpture I'm performing in front of is "Subtile" by Federico Díaz, located along the Sacramento River. I'm obsessed with this piece and it was such an honor to perform under all its disco glory.
