Jeremy Thomas Camp, born in Lafayette, Indiana, on January 12, 1978, is an American Christian rock singer. He studied theology at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, California, and graduated. After his studies, he was ordained a pastor. During this period of his life, he led worship at different churches and youth meetings that took place around California. While on his honeymoon, Camp had written a song that appears on his first CD, “Walk By Faith”. Shortly after Melissa's death, Jeremy wrote another number 1 song on American radio, “I Still Believe,” about the problems he faced during his wife's illness and death. Melissa's wish was fulfilled when Jeremy Camp's album came out in stores, and when he went on tour. During his travels, Camp had the opportunity to share his story with many other people who were going through similar struggles as him.
