Metal detecting along the edge of the pond I was finding all kinds of coins in the ground. I had found wheat pennies and silver the last time here and figure I would go back with the Fisher F75 and small 5 inch coil. I spent a bit of time where people have always hung out on the waters edge and then decided to take a walk up the path. This being an old farm that goes back to the 1700s anything is possible. Well, I got a high but weak signal and started digging and could not believe my eyes. I just dug up a large copper coin after all that clad. Cleaned it up and it was a 1805 Draped bust US large cent ! wow ! so I figured go over to the cellar hole of the old farm and try mu luck again and the first signal I dug up was an Indian head penny. I am totally impressed with the Fisher F75's ability to find coins, really impressed.
