Some excerpts I put together from my trip to Japan using the Panasonic Lumix GH5 paired with the Laowa 17mm f/1.8 for MFT. Hope you enjoy! Technical specifications: Panasonic Lumix GH5 (shot at FHD 10-bit 4:2:2, upscaled to 4K for YouTube) Laowa 17mm f/1.8 (paired with Fotga Variable ND Filter) Edited in Final Cut Pro X, Colored in Davinci Resolve 18.5 REVIEW: I've always loved the portability the Lumix GH5 carries with its dynamic range capabilities. Thus for travel, I paired it with a nice & compact prime lens from Laowa. My overall experience was quite delightful as the combo was light, compact, and portable. The only problem with the GH5 is its lowlight capabilities that are standard, but the f/1.8 aperture from the lens managed to help a bit. As always, the colors I managed to get from this camera when pushing in it Resolve has always been remarkable and still stands up to newer cameras in the market today. As for the lens, it's sharp, robust, & compact. Image quality is good, it also has a very close minimum focusing distance with a 35mm equivalent field of view that makes it possible for unique framing.
