NEW BIKE BUILD! | KONA PROCESS 111 | AND I BECOME A KONA AMBASSADOR FOR 2020!

Welcome back to Horns High Mountain Biking. In three years of making videos for you guys, I've never unveiled a new bike....until now. I had been searching for a short travel 29er for a while. And my research kept coming up with people going on and on and on about a bike from Kona called the Process 111. I couldn't find a person out there with anything bad to say about this bike. From its lively personality and ability to rail corners to its confidence in steep terrain, everyone seemed to love this bike. Even the guys at Bike Magazine revered the Process 111 as their darling bike in their 2015 Bible Of Bikes. In their 2016 Bible Of Bikes one of them even commented, "Can we re-ride the Process 111 from last year?!" These guys were talking about this little 29er as if it were some kind of a shredder or something. But it was a 29er, how could that be? This bike had a loyal fans. This bike won hearts. This bike had legacy.... And I had never even heard of it. Crazy, right? I lived in a world of 150+mm travel bikes with medium sized wheels. 29ers weren't cool, dude! Maybe I needed to adjust my perspective. I'm no stranger to Kona's brand. I had a Dawg Deluxe previously and I loved that bike. And as I considered other short-travel 29ers, one question kept coming up in my head: Could me and the 111 pick up where me and my beloved Dawgie Dee left off? I had to find out what that feeling was all about. What will this ride be like for me? Only time will tell, but I'm looking forward to the ride. Last November I applied for Kona's Ambassador Program and I am very happy to announce that they accepted my application for 2020! So, in addition to my regular content, I will be creating six videos inspired by Kona's theme suggestions. I'm looking forward to working with Kona to deliver you guys even more creative content and good times on two wheels. As for my Bronson, you'll still see it from time to time when the trails require that much travel but I'm currently saving up for a Process 153 29er to take over for the Bronson's retirement.
