I took my iFlight BOB57 4km out to the sea for a beautiful sunrise FPV long range flight 🌅

In this video, I take you on a stunning early morning long-range FPV flight over the coast of Corsica, chasing the sunrise from the sky. You might recognize part of this flight from my last Corsica video — I got up early at our Airbnb to capture the sun rising over the Mediterranean from a bird’s-eye view. My target for this flight? A mysterious lighthouse standing alone in the sea. I estimated the distance to be about 4 kilometers based on map data, though the lighthouse wasn’t marked or visible in satellite images. Flying with the Bob57 and a 3300mAh lipo battery setup, I set out to explore the coastline and see how far I could go. ⚠️ Challenges I encountered: Occasional video dropouts, possibly due to interference from a nearby radar or radio station Flying over open water, which always adds an extra layer of risk Despite not quite reaching the lighthouse, the flight was smooth and efficient, with valuable lessons learned about video signal interference and long-range flying over the sea. 🦅 Also — shoutout to the seagull that flew by mid-flight!
