Leon Kosavic – young and talented baritone with international career and recipient of numerous awards. He graduated and attained his master’s degree at The Academy of Music in Zagreb in class of Maestro Giorgio Surian. His education is still ongoing. Leon Kosavic continued his vocal study and his professional development with three great vocal Maestros: Vitomir Marof, Jose Van Dam and Giorgio Surian. He appeared in performaces alongside with great Nathalie Stutzmann, and many orchestras like London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra etc. He also appeared in many opera houses accross the world such as Finnish National Opera, Royal Opera House London, Stuttgart State Opera etc. in which he demonstrated his talent in concerts, oratorio and symphonic music and in opera performances. Operatic repertoire: Morales (Carmen), Dottor Malatesta (Don Pasquale), Don Giovanni (Don Giovanni), Masetto (Don Giovanni), Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Conte (Le nozze di Figaro), Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Riccardo (I Puritani), Lord Enrico Ashton (Lucia di Lammermoor),Orfeo (Orfeo ed Euridice), Papageno (Die Zauberflöte) etc. Symphonic and oratorio repertoire: Bach’s Johannes Passion, Bach’s St Matthew Passion, Haydn’s Stabat Mater, Mozart’s Requiem, Mozart’s Great Mass.
