VEJA S/A | episode 37. Logistics company JSL has seen its operations triple in value since its IPO in mid-2020. Ramon Alcaraz, the company's CEO since April 2021, stated in an interview with the VEJA S/A program that the company has faced all the difficulties it could face in the last four years. Despite accumulating debts of almost R$5 billion, the executive says he does not see the need for a capital increase in the short term. Alcaraz also advocates the adoption of more sustainable automotive fleets and says that natural gas-powered trucks have greater traction in the sector since the autonomy of electric vehicles is limited. The CEO of JSL avoided talking about Petrobras' new fuel pricing policy, but stated that fueling the fleets is a relevant part of expenses and classified the old habit of daily adjustments as terrible.
