Rainforest Wild Asia opened to public on 12th March 2025, it is the newest addition to the Singapore MANDAI Reserve, joining the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders and Bird Paradise. This makes it currently the World's newest zoo, and is also Asia's first adventure-based zoological park. Do drop by if you are looking to fill your time during the March school holiday! It has been raining a lot recently, you can call Mandai to suggest a change in park visit date~ The Rainforest Wild Asia is in Singapore, Mandai Wildlife West. Address 20 Mandai Lake Road😊 It is beside the Bird Paradise~ The park concept is interesting, the 36 species of animals are housed in pretty spacious homes, with most viewpoint closer to the animals compared to conventional glass-up enclosures. The Rainforest Wild is segregated into 8 different zones. Starting off with 1) Entrance Gorge: Dragon fish and Terrapins 2) The Karsts: Francois’ Langurs 3) The outpost: Ranger Cafe here for some refreshment 4) Forest Floor: Deer family and tortoises, i saw on Mandai IG there is a new born deer too! 5) Rock Cascade : Waterfalls & Malayan tigers 6) The Canopy: Langurs and walking nets, perfect for adventurous kids and adults 7) Watering Hole: Sun bears and the AIA Vitality bouncing net is here 8) The Cavern: Inspired by the Mulu Caves in Sarawak, Borneo. Here is full sheltered if it rains, also it is airconditioned! These are the play and acitivties for the adventurous ones: 1) Langur walking net (free! & good for kids!) 2) Langur Bridge walk ( free! & good for kids!) 3) AIA Vitality Bounce ($15 for 20 mins), slide is only for kids 4) The canopy jump ($30 Leap from a towering 13m or 20m platform, only for 1.35m tall and above) 5) Black Cavern adventure (Wild Cavern Adventure Bundle, Illuminated by headlamps, adventure into the cavern by climbing rock formations and scaling ladders before traversing a cable line and abseiling down the walls of the cavern in complete darkness.) Minimum height: 1.35m $172 Note: The crawling critters is now closed! The zookeeper mentioned people feedback it is too expensive ($20 each pax) for the experience and when they make it free, the queue was too long. So they have close it for now~If you have paid for it, talk to the staff to see how you can redemm it for F&B or rentals Tip: 1) Reserve your table at Canvern Restaurant ahead of time (can use Chope) it was full house when we were there at 240pm 😔 2) Download the Mandai app for the park map and keepers talk!
