Some people have their one “go to” position while others toss and turn all night. If you are one of those people that has to sleep on your stomach. Try this! Line up some pillows, and lay half on your side and half on your stomach. This meets your needs of wanting to sleep on your stomach without hurting your neck or waking up sore/numb. We also get a lot of complaints about the shoulder. People will sleep wrong on their shoulder and wake up sore or numb. Try to tilt off your shoulder when sleeping instead of sleeping directly on it. Supporting your neck properly is something you should be aware of too. You don’t want too little or too much pillow underneath your head. If you sleep with your hand underneath your pillow, you may not have enough pillow to properly support your head. At night inadvertently you could be using your hand to try to lift your pillow up. Try a thicker pillow or an additional pillow. If you are one of those people who puts their arm overheard, try hugging a pillow at night. This keeps your arms in front of you and out of the impingement zone overhead. We hope this helps!
