Kozhikode is a coastal city in the south Indian state of Kerala. It was a significant spice trade center and is close to Kappad Beach, where Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama landed in 1498. It also has a 160 year old Fire temple amidst shopping places.Row upon row of stalls, peppered with sweets and savouries and a bunch of other delights, make it among the busiest streets in the entire district. 6.Beypore Beach Another enticing beach here away from the city rush is Beypore beach. It is a beautiful place to spend some quality time with your loved ones. The evenings here are quiet and peaceful.
