World’s Smallest River Island 😱 | Umananda Temple Guwahati | 40 rs Boat Ride Brahmaputra River | Assam ===================================== 🌄Assam Ep.1 Journey : 🌿✨ 🌅 Exploring Guwahati | Peacock Island, Ropeway Ride & More 🇮🇳 In this vlog, I explored some of the most beautiful spots inside Guwahati! My day started early in the morning with a visit to the world’s smallest river island — Peacock Island. To reach there, I took a government boat (only ₹40!) and enjoyed a peaceful ride across the Brahmaputra River. As I reached the island, I was greeted by the calm and spiritual vibes of the Umananda Temple, located right in the middle of the river. After taking darshan, my next stop was the Guwahati Ropeway — one of the longest river ropeways in India. The ticket cost ₹200, and the ride offered a stunning aerial view of the Brahmaputra, with Peacock Island right below! After reaching North Guwahati, I explored a few local temples and tried the famous Guwahati parota, which tasted amazing. Later, I took the ropeway back to South Guwahati and visited Nehru Park (entry ₹30). The park was calm and perfect for families to relax, though not much to explore inside.
