Making “Lavender Mint Splay” Cold Process Soap using the Soap Parting Technique In this video, I use the Soap Parting technique to insert color in a splay type pattern. I find myself reaching for the lavender spearmint soap most in the shower these days. The fragrance is so sweet and pleasant and the mint is cooling. I’m almost out, so it is time to make more. I decided to try a splay pattern with greens and purples to compliment the fragrance. The large bath bars are inspired by French country lavender and the small bath bars are just fun and easy designs. I like the nice swirls in the soap between the white and greens. The natural clays along with the organic oils make a rich, creamy and smooth shaving soap. I hope to springboard your own ideas for designs by sharing my latest soap parting adventure.
