Doctor Nicola carried out the initial impatient assessment & I will be carrying out your admission health check today. I will be carrying out some general health checks including swabs, urine & blood tests. I will check your wounds, clean & dress them. I will issue you some meds to help relax you & I will officially admit you to the unit & put on a wrist band. I will have to do a bag check as well. Finally I will insert a canula in case we have to administer some drugs. Everything is going to be ok, you are in safe hands here.
