We certainly couldn’t see how it could be any faster but we were curious to see how fast the ClickFix system actually is. So, after a photo shoot with a Kamei Corvara S 390 we put it to the test. As you can see, it really is as simple as it looks! We consistently fitted the Corvara 390 S to aluminium aero bars in less than 15 seconds. Impressive! The patented duo-lift opening system made it even easier to access the fittings and position the box on the roof bars. The ultra low profile of the ClickFix system also allows for more space in the roof box allowing you to fit more of your luggage inside, freeing up valuable boot space! The locks were extremely easy to use as KAMEI’s locking system has the benefit of central locking without the potential drawbacks. As you can see you just turn the key and the lid opens wide on gas struts. To close it, as demonstrated in this video, you just pull the lid until it clicks shut. Another great feature is the fact that you can’t lock the keys in the box inadvertently because the keys can’t be withdrawn from the lock until the roof box is properly shut.
