That is the question Facilitated conversation and interactive workshop Ever found yourself wanting to share your knowledge, experience and insights with your coaching and supervision clients? Solution Focused practice leans towards being the guide on the side rather than the sage on the stage, holding the space for others to do their best thinking. Yet in some contexts sharing our wisdom is tempting, perhaps even necessary. In this interactive session participants will: *Reflect on habits and assumptions around knowledge sharing *Explore when it may, or may not, be useful to share advice *Practise approaches for offering input in ways that keep agency with the other person Janine Waldman is a Solution-Focused coach, supervisor and trainer with over 25 years of experience, working with individuals and organisations in the UK and globally. Co-author of Positively Speaking, The Resilience Pocketbook and The Executive Guide to Engagement, Resilience + Performance, she has introduced SF approaches to thousands of people worldwide. Janine is an ICF PCC-accredited coach and an ILM Level 7-certified supervisor, drawing on earlier senior HRD roles in UK and New Zealand multinationals. Abi Boughton-Thomas is a Solution Focused coach, supervisor and trainer working with individuals and organisations across a wide range of contexts. An EMCC Senior Practitioner, she brings experience from clinical work, NHS primary care and coaching psychology, including designing wellbeing coaching programmes and practising as a Solution Focused Brief Therapist. Abi now supports clients including secondary school students, PhD researchers, people experiencing long-term unemployment and neurodivergent individuals funded through Access to Work.
