NEW TERMINAL! Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-7H4 Pushback, Taxi, Takeoff from New San Diego T1 ~ KSAN

The long awaited and highly anticipated new Terminal 1 at San Diego Lindbergh Field International Airport opened officially on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Costing 10 times as much as the Coronado bridge, this new $4 Billion terminal features plenty of natural light, spacious restrooms, and comfortable seating options to provide massive contrast from the old T1. Southwest is the primary shareholder of this terminal and clearly all of the WN crew members in San Diego today were excited for the terminal upgrade. Unfortunately, I did not have time to do an in depth exploration of the new terminal nor did I have the time to film much of it, but a good view is presented upon the pushback, taxi out, and takeoff. I’ve also decided to try a new filming style for this video, so hopefully it is still enjoyable. As per usual, takeoffs from San Diego filmed from the left side are stunning and this golden hour rocket departure is no exception. Enjoy the show!
