Gastro-Duodenal Ulcer with Post Bulbar Duodenal Stenosis

OESOPHAGUS: Mucosa is smooth & pink with no ulcer or erosion. No stricture, polyp or tumor is seen. There is no evidence of oesophageal varix seen. Gastro-oesophageal junction is located at 40cm from incisor teeth. No evidence of hiatus hernia is present.  STOMACH: Fundus, body & antrum examined. Large amount of fluid is seen in the stomach, which is sucked by endoscopic suction. A big benign looking ulcer covered with whitish exudates is seen at the body. Mucosal erythemas are seen at the antrum, body and fundus.  DUODENUM: The bulb is deformed with a big ulcer below the pyloric brim. Mucosa is grossly edematous blocking the lumen. Post bulbar lumen is grossly compromised even scope could not be negotiated beyond the stenosis area.  BIOPSY: Taken from ulcers at the body for histopathology.
