1982 Maytag Portable Dishwasher WC304 Viewer Question About The Upper Rack

YouTube user ‪@saritaserrano8700‬ asked me a question on an old video I made about this dishwasher. The question was if I could make a video showing the upper rack. She had just received a similar vintage Maytag and the upper rack keeps falling forward. I don't know exactly what she means by falling forward. Maybe it's coming off the track or there are rollers missing? Not sure. But anyway I show how mine is installed and show the parts that are supposed to hold the rack from coming out of the track. I didn't mention this in the video but there should be two rollers on each side of the dishwasher's walls that the track rolls on and two rollers on each side of the rack itself. If any of the rollers are missing I could see how that would make the rack fall forward when you pull it out. I hope this helps you figure out your problem.
