Jeans in vid: http://bit.ly/2rXFTJY more here http://bit.ly/2uNykm4 Nike epic react flyknit vs adidas Ultra Boost! What is Nike React technology? New cushioning that is the Terminator 2 for Lunarlon. Lunarlon was soft foam encased In harder foam to be more durable. React is lighter, more cushion like and responsive than before Some say it’s a carbon copy of ultra Boost, but news flash... the Nike presto has the shape first. How is react vs Boost? It’s a competitor no question. Simply put, it’s softer than Boost, but less stable and not as responsive. Impressive stuff Fit is tts snug or go up .5 for extra wiggle room Primeknit is better than flyknit Pk is thicker, feels more durable. Better heel counter on the UB Laces are not needed on either React is different than bball version, not encased which means much more cushion! But less stability. Not as responsive as Boost imo React is 9.6 (my bad, not 8.6!)is and lighter than Boost, but probably due to no continental rubber traction Less traction, will follow up to see how it lasts $150 vs $180 React vs ZoomX - zoom x is noticeably more responsive and more cushiony React is softer than lunarlon React is softer than bounce Closest thing to it is the cloud foam slides by adidas or Pure Boost... it’s sort of like that but snug on ur feet. Nike react is a hit, like the new Roshe run in a good way. I would like a detached tongue, less snug fit but .5 up might change my mind about that. Final thoughts? Love these so far. Adidas raises the bar 5 yrs ago with adidas Boost, and it forced competition to ELEVATE Their game. $150 worth it IMO, and will buy again. Its Nike React foam cushioning is responsive yet lightweight, durable yet soft. This attraction of opposites creates a sensation that not only enhances the feeling of moving forward, but makes running feel fun, too. Ridiculously Responsive Nike React feels incredibly bouncy. As your foot lands, the foam responds to the impact of your step by snapping back. The more energy you put into your step, the more energy you get in return. Compared to the similarly soft Nike Lunarlon cushioning, you get 13% more energy return with React. Feels Like the First Run The foam outsole shows the hard work and wear of many miles, yet it resists compression and keeps its shape. Based on testing with champion runners like Galen Rupp, the shoe's cushioning still feels like new after roughly 300 miles. It's like you get that exciting, out-of-the-box experience with every run. Give Your Feet a Hug Flyknit material conforms to the shape of your foot, creating a snug, hug-like feel. With the bootie-style construction, the tongue is seamlessly part of the upper. This eliminates the pressure a traditional tongue puts on the top of your foot. Combined with the bouncy-soft feeling of React underfoot, it's like you're wearing slippers on a mattress. Optimized Traction To keep the shoe as light as possible, traction is placed only where critical. Based on data, rubber sections on the toe and heel help you grip the ground and push off. More Details Heel shelf stabilizes the back of your foot to help keep your heel from rocking as your foot lands Synthetic suede heel lining helps prevent slippage and blisters Weight: 9.6 ounces/272 grams (men's size 10) Offset:10mm Shown: College Navy/Racer Blue/Pink Blast/College Navy Style: AQ0067-400 Flyknit Origins Nike Flyknit technology was inspired by feedback from runners seeking a shoe with the snug (and virtually unnoticed) fit of a sock. Nike embarked on a four-year mission with teams of programmers, engineers and designers to create the technology needed to make the knit upper with static properties for structure and durability. Then the precise placement of support, flexibility and breathability—all in one layer—was refined. The result is a featherweight, formfitting and virtually seamless upper. This unprecedented precision maximizes performance while reducing the material waste of traditional cut and sew by an average of 60%. The equivalent of six recycled plastic bottles are used in every pair of Flyknit shoes, saving millions of pounds of material from reaching landfills.
