I am using a Baby Tula Free to grow but this will work for any carrier that has ruck style straps. ✨In this video, I gently loosen both arm straps and the waistband. This allows you to lower baby gently to reach your breast. Ensure to loosen the waistbelt too so that baby does not slump when feeding. ✨When feeding in a sling, always be aware of supporting babies head with one hand. No fabric should be behind the head so they are free to latch and unlatch as needed. Ensure both hands are cupping the breast. ✨Feeding in a sling is not a handfree option, but it does give you one hand free. ✨When baby is finished, give them a moment then move back into the upright position. This will help with digestion and help prevent any reflux. ✨ Breastfeeding clothing is very handy for feeding in slings.
