This song is born out of my meditation on Psalms 103. This Psalm beautifully describes the fragility of man and the abounding power and grace of God offered to mankind. As I pondered my life so far, I can say just as the psalmist said “The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.” Our God is glorified out of this temporal life if we understand our fragility, our fallen nature and seek the righteousness of God. As I turn back and look at my life, I can definitely see the loving hands of God and the ways He led me to know and understand Him better. I am forever grateful to God for choosing and revealing Himself to me. I am a broken vessel but I am beautiful in His hands. All the situations I had to face in life either good or bad has made me get closer to God. Our God did not reveal Himself to me as a strict boss but as a loving,compassionate and righteous Father. “As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;”. I wish and pray that you too will come into the knowledge of understanding this loving God who is your creator and your saviour. He loves you as you are and is willing to relate with you as you come to Him with a repentant heart.
