✝️📖 Psalm 57, Prayer for Safety from Enemies. David wrote this poem in En Gedi, when he hid from Saul on two different occasions. This occasion was when King Saul was pursuing David and the King entered a cave to relieve himself. This cave happened to be the one David was hiding in. David didn't kill Saul when he had the chance, but cut off a piece of the King's garment. David could have easily of killed King Saul, but chose not to. With such a close encounter and opportunity, David still trusted in the Lord and His protection. This psalm along with psalm 58, 59 and 75 were all set to the tune "Do Not Destroy". This is read calmly aloud with the words typed on the page to better help memorize if you are watching it. I have repeated it several times and looped this powerful Psalm so that our subscribers can meditate on it while you memorize it. There is also a section where I have a short pause so that you can repeat it and speak it out.
