So I finally played Undertale's Genocide Run. However, everything I thought I was getting was merely a fraction of the full truth... You see diving into this run, I was expecting difficulty, hype, "evil-mode activated", SANS SANS SANS MEGALOVANIA, the type of thing you see all over youtube and social media. What I got instead, was something much quieter... and much worse. This video is all about how internet culture, clips, and algorithm driven content shaped my expectations of UNDERTALE's darkest route, and how the reality of what this run actually entails completely shattered them, and me...
