Recorded by Radio station KAL (Berkeley, Ca.) on April 15, 1966 at Harmon Gymnasium on the University of California, Berkeley campus. https://www.discogs.com/Clifton-Cheni... 1. Intro & Louisiana Shuffle (00:00) 2. French Zydeco (02:37) 3. Scratch My Back (05:38) 4. Everybody Calls Me Crazy (09:31) 5. What I'd Say (12:49) 6. Louisiana Rock (15:57) "Chenier's performance might be of the greatest historical interest of the three artists on this disc, since it was his first appearance before a "a mostly young, white, relatively sophisticated concert audience," as Chris Strachwitz writes in the liner notes. It's just him, his accordion, and drummer Francis Clay, mostly on original tunes, as well as zydeco arrangements of Slim Harpo's "Baby Scratch My Back" and Ray Charles' "What'd I Say?." https://www.allmusic.com/album/live%2... "Clifton Chenier (June 25, 1925 – December 12, 1987), a Louisiana French-speaking native of Opelousas, Louisiana, was an eminent performer and recording artist of Zydeco, which arose from Cajun and Creole music, with R&B, jazz, and blues influences. He played the accordion and won a Grammy Award in 1983. He was a recipient of a 1984 National Heritage Fellowship awarded by the National Endowment for the Arts, which is the United States government's highest honor in the folk and traditional arts. He was inducted posthumously into the Blues Hall of Fame in 1989, and the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 2011. In 2014, he was a recipient of the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. He was known as the King of Zydeco, and also billed as the King of the South." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clifton...
