Welcome to Foxxy Gear Reviews, where we review the guitar gear of Fox Farm, Eastern Canada's second foxxiest five piece all-male rock band. Today we're playing through a couple of Marshall Plexi Reissue Amps. For a long time, I'd gotten away from Marshall amps in favor of Fender. I find it hard to dial in my tone on a JCM 800 and 900, but when I realized that a JTM 45 is basically a Fender Bassman with KT66 or EL34 tubes, I decided to give Marshall another chance. I'm glad I did. These amps rock! They take pedals very well, and surprisingly have quite decent headroom (I play alot of clean tones, or sounds just on the edge of breakup). You can hear that these amps are definitely unique, but both have an unmistakably "Marshall" sound. The guitars here are a 2002 Les Paul Standard with Seth Lover SD pickups, a 2000 Fender American Standard Stratocaster, a 2012 PRS custom 24 and a Tom Anderson Drop Top Koa. I hope you enjoy the demo and consider subscribing to our channel.
