As part of our IMS 2025 Spotlight series, everything RF visited the Mini-Circuits booth, where Lee Whiting showcased their latest portable RF test solutions designed for modern test environments. The highlight was a dual-channel X-band signal source (8–12.5 GHz), supporting CW, pulsed, and analog modulation testing. The demo setup included a high-performance 18 GHz peak power sensor, a mechanical switch matrix, and various DUTs such as amplifiers, filters, and couplers — all seamlessly controlled via USB and Ethernet. A Python-based demonstration illustrated how easily users can automate key RF measurements like frequency sweeps, power sweeps, return loss, gain, P1dB, and IP3 using this integrated setup.
