There are so many walks around Dublin but there is none more steeped in history than the Bray Celtic Camino. As a pilgrim, it is humbling to be retracing the steps of Irish peregrinos who left on boats to take challenging pilgrimages to Spain. Many never came back. Those were the medieval times and those trips were not as relaxing as today. Today, we honour those pilgrims with the Celtic Camino. The Cathedral in Santiago recognises it too. I was delighted to walk the second part of this walk with Camino Society Ireland from Dun Laoghaire. The weather was fantastic and there was a great turn out.
