Aerial views of Laguna Busa, Hacienda Turística Intihuatana, the commercial Busa area, all in the San Fernando sector of Azuay Province in Ecuador. My wife and I have visited Hacienda Intihuatana twice now, the first time on New Year's Eve 2023 and again in late January, celebrating our 19th anniversary a few months early. It's a beautiful drive to get up there, and once there you are treated to very nice accommodations, whether you book a cabin or thatched hut, as well as access to a nice restaurant (where they make excellent margaritas!), hot tubs, and hiking trails around the lake.
