Filmed in early June on the 6th 2021, this garden video features his rock garden which is in bloom, a variety of iris, flowering trees, his dryland garden and more. A lifelong Colorado gardener, Panayoti specializes in native, alpine and xeric plants. Rock gardening and dryland plants are his passion. Panayoti has been with the Denver Botanic Gardens for over 40 years as a Senior Curator and Director of Outreach Panayoti began his career as curator of the Rock Alpine Garden which is a signature garden at DBG. Then take a tour with gardener Cynthia Scott at her Boulder, Colorado home. Full of native plants her pollinator garden is a delight for pollinators such as native bees, honey bees, bubble bees and more. Cynthia leads a garden tour of her steppe, crevice and rock garden. Cynthia strives to garden in an ecological way and without pesticides to encourage abundant life in her garden, such as native bees, pollinators, birds and other wildlife. Incorporating native plants that are suited to Colorado and the climate helps support the ecosystem. Followed by a tour a Ray Radebaugh's Louisville, Colorado home. Explore amazing rock gardens featuring water features such as small waterfalls, streams and a Koi pond. Ray's garden tour will give you plenty of ideas for your rock, water or shade garden as he points out many of the plants he uses and how he designed and went about building this impressive garden. Featured plants includes many ferns, evergreens, rhododendron, dwarf plants, ice plants and many more.
