Drawing inspiration from the pioneering spirit of Chopin's compositions, I am excited to unveil a reimagined series of preludes entitled "Preludios Chopinianos". This collection, comprising 24 preludes, each infused with a unique tonal palette, pays homage to Chopin's revolutionary exploration of emotions through music. As we embark on this musical journey, it's essential to recognize the significant role that women have played in shaping the recent developments in classical guitar. With a surge in exceptionally talented female guitarists, it's a privilege to showcase their artistry within the framework of this project. From established virtuosos to emerging talents, each performer brings a distinct perspective, enriching the ensemble with their unique interpretations. Despite variations in recording quality, reflecting the diversity of equipment available to each artist, what remains constant is the spirit of generosity and dedication that permeates each performance. Just as Chopin's compositions transcend technicalities to evoke raw emotions, our aim is to present a cohesive musical narrative, where each prelude seamlessly flows into the next. With deep gratitude, I present this collection as a tribute to the enduring legacy of Frédéric Chopin, interpreted anew by women on the guitar.
