1. Rubina Shergill Rubina Shergill, who played the second bahu Simran, a brave cop in Zee TV’s Mrs Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein, passed away on 12th Jan, 2012 due to Asthma attack. The actress was in coma for few weeks and was on ventilation support but, unfortunately she lost her battle. 2. Sanjit Bedi Television actor Sanjit Bedi meets his untimely death in June 23, 2015 due to prolonged illness. Sanjeet, better known as Dr. Omi from the popular show “Sanjeevani.” He was part of many other shows including “Jaane Kya Baat Hui”, “Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasman”, “Kasauti Zindagi Ki” and others. 3. Kuljeet Randhawa Kuljeet Randhawa who was best remembered for her role in ‘Kohinoor’ committed suicide by hanging herself in year 2006. 4. Jatin Kanakia Jatin Kanakia, who was one of the best comedians who got fame with Doordarshan’s show ‘Shrimaan Shrimati’ died in 1999 due to pancreatic cancer. 5. Rakesh Diwana Rakesh Diwana who plays a character og Maharaj Ji in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is said to have undergone a weight loss surgery but, due to some complications following a surgery passed away on 27th April, 2014. 7. Vivek Shauq Vivek Shauq was a noted actor, comedian, writer and singer. He died of a heart attack on 10 January 2011 in Mumbai. 8. Abir Goswami Abir Goswami who was starred in Kkusum and Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli died an untimely death due to a cardiac arrest in 2013. 9. Dilip Dhawan Dilip Dhawan who was best known for his role as Guru in the television serial Nukkad, Dhawan also acted in serials like Janam, Deewar and Tere Mere Sapne died due to heart attack. 10.
