Commercial Hand Line Fishing For King Fish (Mackerel) In The Caribbean - Las Cuevas, Trinidad #handlinefishing #traditionalfishing #livebaitfishing Last weekend, I got the opportunity to join in on a Commercial Hand Line Fishing trip out of Las Cuevas, Trinidad in search of the elusive king mackerel. The day started off pretty slow as we did not have the best live bait, but then we were given a lifeline by my bro Fiad, who brought some live bait for us. On the day, fishing was pretty slow, with the majority of action coming from Bonito, but in between these speedy fish, we did manage to hook up on a couple decent king fish. We ended up with a decent haul of fish, enough to be sold and cover expenses of the trip. Commercial Fishing is not easy and you never know what you will get on the day.
