The story begins in May 2025, when 32-year-old Ramkesh Meena met 21-year-old Amrita Chauhan. The couple moved in together in Delhi, and during their relationship. Meena allegedly filmed intimate clips of Amrita without her consent and stored them on a hard-disk Amrita discovered this and repeatedly demanded deletion. She re-connected with her ex-boyfriend Sumit Kashyap. Sumit became involved in the conflict over the videos and hard-disk. On the night of October 5/6, Meena was allegedly attacked by Sumit and a friend reportedly strangled and beaten After the assault, the accused allegedly attempted to stage the scene as an accidental fire.
